Founded in 2026, the Watson Lab is a new addition to the College of Pharmacy and the BioInnovations in Brain Cancer Program. Our group focuses on applying spatial multi-omics and computational oncology to investigate and therapeutically target the immune microenvironment of brain cancers. We study how the extracellular matrix and fibrosis shapes the signaling and mechanical microenvironment, and how it can be targeted for novel treatments.
